Welcome to MIT MY Studio. This website (the "Site") is operated by MIT MY Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or purchasing from our Site, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service", "Terms").

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our website.

1. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & CUSTOMS DUTIES

We ship worldwide from our studio in Berlin, Germany.

Customer Responsibility: For all international orders shipped outside the European Union (including, but not limited to, the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada), the recipient is the importer of record. You are solely responsible for ensuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country and for paying all local customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and carrier handling fees.

Refusal to Pay Customs: If you refuse to pay the required customs duties or import taxes upon the arrival of your package, and the carrier charges these fees to MIT MY Studio to secure the package, or if the package is returned due to unpaid duties, all such costs (including customs penalties, storage fees, and return transit costs) will be strictly deducted from your final refund.

2. CANCELLATIONS & GOODS IN TRANSIT

Once an order is dispatched from our facility and a tracking number is issued, the shipping contract with the carrier is active.

Interruption in Transit: If you wish to cancel your order or invoke your Right of Withdrawal while the package is physically in transit, no refunds will be issued until the package has completed its journey and has been physically returned to our facility in Berlin.

Refused or Unclaimed Deliveries: If a delivery is refused by the customer at the door, or remains unclaimed at the local postal branch, the carrier will return the package to us. Any return shipping fees, administrative fees, or return penalties levied on MIT MY Studio by the carrier will be deducted entirely from the customer’s refund.

3. RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY

We offer a 30-day commercial return window from the date of delivery. To protect the integrity of our high-quality dancewear, all returns must strictly meet our eligibility criteria:

Pristine Condition: Garments must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and completely free of makeup, deodorant, perfume, sweat, or any signs of studio/athletic use.

Original Packaging: All original tags, garment labels, and signature packaging must remain attached and completely undamaged.

Unapproved Returns: Packages sent back to us without initiating a formal return request via hello.mitmy@gmail.com will not be accepted or refunded.

4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS & RISK OF LOSS

No Prepaid Labels: MIT MY Studio does not provide prepaid return shipping labels. All costs and logistics associated with returning a product are the sole financial responsibility of the customer.

Risk of Loss: The title and risk of loss for returned items remain entirely with the customer until the merchandise physically arrives at our facility and is signed for by our team. We highly recommend using a trackable, insured shipping service. We assume no liability for packages misdirected, delayed, or lost by your chosen carrier.

Non-Refundable Fees: Original shipping fees, processing fees, and any customs duties paid at the time of purchase are strictly non-refundable. Only the net purchase price of the eligible returned garment will be credited.

5. REFUNDS PROCESS

Upon receiving your returned package, our team will meticulously inspect the item(s).

Approval: We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund based on the condition of the garment.

Deductions: If approved, your refund will be automatically processed back to your original payment method, minus any applicable deductions (such as original shipping fees, or forced return/customs fees paid by us on your behalf under Section 1 and Section 2).

Processing Time: Please allow a few business days for your banking institution or credit card provider to process and post the transaction.

6. DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS

We take immense pride in our craftsmanship. You must inspect your order immediately upon reception. If an item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours at hello.mitmy@gmail.com with photographic proof so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

7. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany and the European Union. For EU consumers, this does not affect your mandatory statutory rights under local consumer protection laws (including the statutory 14-day Right of Withdrawal).
